GREEN FEES / SOCIAL GROUPS

Warragul is now rated as one of the best country courses in the region.  Visiting golfers from other clubs at recent tournaments have raved about the course conditions.  Enjoy a round of 18, hire a cart and have a drink in the bar or beer garden after golf.

The Warragul golf Course is fully licensed and take away drinks are available at the bar.

Most social golfers experience the frustration of finishing your round and the bar is closed or you can't get anything to eat after 9 holes.  The Warragul Country Club has a great clubhouse facility open 7 days from 9 am until 11pm.  The bar has 8 beers on tap, 8 LCD TVs and an 8ft screen.  Bar snacks are available from 9am to 9pm on the weekend and the bistro is open for lunch & dinner 7 days.  Hot breakfast is available from 9am-11:30 am on weekends.  Enjoy a beer in the beer garden, or book 1 of 2 free BBQs for your social group.

….. Overall, its a great little parkland type golf course, that will also give you a bit of exercise if you don’t wish to grab a cart. The local members that I met on my travels (most of them slightly older than myself as you would expect for a Monday morning) …….. were all super friendly and welcoming ……..

In summing up, I had a lovely relaxed round of golf in a peaceful, friendly, country parkland setting ….. and found another hidden gem of a golf course, that its members can be truly proud of.

Played Warragul recently and was impressed.

For $25 you really get a good variety of holes with the front 9 being very hilly and quite tight and the back nine much more open and flatter. Not sure why but it seemed like Warragul doesn’t wake up until 11am as we had the course pretty much to ourselves.

Course is in great condition, the fairways especially. The greens were quick and quite small. Bunkering was minimal but well sanded which makes a nice change.

Overall a very good course made better by the Bistro in the clubhouse. Huge selection of food and very helpful staff. Would recommend playing early and staying for lunch.

The ProShop is also well stocked and had some good buys and membership is dirt cheap if you live more than 50kms from Warragul – ($295). If you live in Berwick, Beaconsfield it’s a 30-35min drive away.

Very impressed and I will be playing Warragul again.

This is the best course in Gippsland. Forget the rest, this is it !
Lovely grass to hit off and not a weed on the fairways or greens.
Pro shop staff very friendly and a well stocked shop.
Bistro after golf was 5 star. I recommend to all city players to drive the extra few minutes and play Warragul.

Played 18 Holes at Warragul today and I was pleasantly surprised. From the moment I stepped into the Pro Shop, I couldn’t have been made feel more welcome. The resident golf Professional, Heath was very helpful with information about the course and all facilities that the Club had on offer. The course was in excellant condition and I found it hard to believe that Warragul had nearly 2 inches of rain over the weekend as the course was quite dry considering. The greens were very good, although a little tricky which made the course even more enjoyable. The fairways are lined with magnificent mature exotic trees which would be a sight to behold in Spring and Autumn. The Club house has an excellent Bistro with exceptional staff. All in all, this was a very pleasing experience and I would recomend going to Warragul to anyone whether you are a beginner or professional.

Great little surprise. Did not know much about it, nor heard much about it. Lot of good golf holes, lots of variety. Really good green surfaces and fairways are coming along nicely... Clubhouse is huge and staff are excellent. Normally quiet, so a relaxing round is assured
