HOLE 1
364 METERS
PAR 4
Begin your round with a drive from the recently renovated tee.
You still have to "thread the needle" with your drive, left of center is best.
The landing area is generous, but you have to get the ball there first !
A long to middle iron is the next shot, to a green that is further away than it seems.

HOLE 2
372 METERS
PAR 4
The second is a contrasting hole to the first, and the tee shot must be straight.
The hole features a gully that is still fairway, about 90 metres from the green.
The second shot varies from a wedge in summer, to a long, accurate iron in winter.
An elevated green provides some fun during summer,
as anything short will roll back to your feet!

HOLE 3
366 METERS
PAR 4
The third hole can be a bonus to the higher-handicapped player, despite the rating of #4.
Especially if the game is stableford, and there is a side-bet going.
With a little good fortune, "4 for 4" can demoralise the opposition !
Get a good drive away, then go for the green.
But be careful, there is trouble behind the hole, and to the left.
Approaching long and left will put you out the gate and in the houses !
Miss it right, and the green starts to look very small.

HOLE 4
271 METERS
PAR 4
This is a great little par 4. Accuracy off the tee again is very important,-
left is OOB the length of the hole, and several old cypress trees feature on the right side.
A front bunker protects the green from the gorillas, and you really want to be putting uphill!

HOLE 5
313 METERS
PAR 4
Love it or hate it, this is a test of accuracy, like most of the holes on the front.
OOB on the left again, and a "large fade" will find you in the cypress or below the 8th tee.
If you miss your second to the right, the green is not visible; tug it left, you're on the road!

HOLE 6
243 METERS
PAR 4
A challenging hole, this.
The gorillas will be tempted to go for the green, and accuracy is of paramount importance here.
Your putt will be rewarded if you leave your approach BELOW the hole!
The speed of this green can be devastating.
Driven often, eagled occasionally, aced twice!

HOLE 7
178 METERS
PAR 3
This par 3 looks a little daunting from the tee, and plays very long into the wind,
- anything from a 5 iron to a fairway wood.
The long tee shot will usually feed down off the bank;
but leave it short, and the ball trickles to the bottom of the hill.
Flat green with some tricky breaks.
A par here is a good par !

HOLE 8

PAR 5
What a view from the tee! Fairway uphill all the way,
and to get a look at the green from 140 metres out, it is a BIG drive!
About 125 metres from the corner is a large green that slopes to the front,
a grassy mound on the right will catch the second shot from a drive that wasn't quite long enough.
Bunkered on the left, and a tough green to putt on when the wind is blowing.
Eagled rarely. Albatrossed once !!

HOLE 9
304 METERS
PAR 4
Rated the easiest hole on the course, this hole is a fairway wood or a long iron to the corner,
and a flick onto the long two-tiered green.
Traditional home of the Pro-Pin.
We're halfway round.
